Bulk Juice Concentrate - The Myths, The Facts And Tips

By Eric Powell

Using black cherries to treat gout has been around for ages. This is one of the oldest folk medicine cures for gout known. Until fairly recently nobody actually knew why it worked. They just knew it worked for many people that suffer from gout. It is now believed that certain compounds found in cherries can actually relieve the pain of gout and help to prevent the actual gout attacks in some gout sufferers. That is why people have taken an interest in familiarizing themselves with the Bulk Juice Concentrate preparation procedure.

Concentrates- Juice from concentrates is the most widely available and popular way of buying orange extract. To reduce costs shipping whole oranges or liquid extract from the countries where orange are grown - all the water is removed, and what remains is frozen. At a later date, water is reintroduced, and this is sold as concentrates fruit extract, or reconstituted fruit extract.

Fresh or squeezed Fruit Extract. Companies who sell fresh or squeezed orange extract store the orange extract as is, but it is still heated to kill bacteria, removing some of the goodness and taste. Home Made Fruit Extract. Just like mom used to make - buy oranges, squeeze them, drink it.

Such extract concentrates decrease the inflammatory load in the body while preventing several diseases like Alzheimer's, osteoporosis, arthritis and different heart diseases. Thus, adding fruit concentrates to a habitual diet can indeed prove very fruitful as well as beneficial for the entire health. So, if you wish to avoid the chronic inflammation and certain other infectious diseases, be sure that you take extract concentrates on a regular basis, or as suggested by your nutritionist.

I also tried black cherry capsules. At first I thought this was going to be great. I could just add them to the vitamins I take each day. I'll be very blunt here. They did not work, except to lighten my wallet of some hard earned money. I was very disappointed, to say the least.

However, to make fruit extract concentrate into a production-friendly sweetener, it has to go through a lengthy and expensive process called "stripping." As the name implies, everything is stripped out of the extract: vitamins, minerals, color, flavor, etc. Then it goes through a deionization process similar to the one that turns cornstarch into corn syrup.

How much should you take? For me, two tablespoons each day works great. For others, two teaspoons a day works fine. Some gout sufferers find it takes more than two tablespoons a day. You have to do a little experimenting to find out how much you need to take to reduce the frequency and duration of your gout attacks.

How can you tell if the product you buy has stripped extract concentrates or not? Manufacturers are not required to disclose how much of their extract concentrates are stripped, so there is no effective way to know. However, a good rule of thumb is this-if you can't taste the fruit it has been concentrated from, then the concentrates has probably been stripped. The next time you reach for that raspberry extract blend, whose primary ingredient is pear extract from concentrates, you can pretty much guarantee that the pear extract has been stripped to remove the pear flavor.
