5 WWE Action Figures Renowned For Their Success

Wresting undoubtedly is an interesting sport to watch. With millions of viewers all across the globe, the WWE has made a name for itself in the world of wrestling entertainment. While some of its top stars have never ventured out of the wrestling realm, others have progressed to establish vibrant careers in the big screen. This article takes a look at some of the most successful WWE action figures the world has seen thus far.

Movie star Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock for his in ring persona, undoubtedly tops the list. Once he joined the federation in the 1990s, his star rose and he grew into a household name. His biggest accomplishment definitely lies in the opportunity he got to star in The Scorpion King, a globally acclaimed blockbuster movie.

The film gained numerous awards once it was released. Later, he had lots of roles in different films, most notably in the popular franchise The Fast and Furious. These days, he is a valuable asset to his agent as movie producers try hard to give him roles.

Renowned champion John Cena is a great actor as well. He was drafted into the wrestling federation at the turn of the 2000s, progressing rapidly to changing the perception that most viewers have about wrestling. His style and the funky feeling he brought into the ring made wrestling more interesting. Movie producers started taking note and gave him the lead role in the successful movie The Marine. He has also played different roles in several Hollywood films.

Another performer who often gets little credit for his achievements is Stone Cold Steve Austin. Most viewers know little about his achievements outside the ring. Regardless of this, there are films he as partaken in that are household names all over the world. Some of them include The Condemned, The Expendables and Recoil. Since his retirement from wrestling and the release of these three films, he has been relatively quiet on the acting front.

Six time world champion Dave Batista is another big name in wrestling and the movie scene. During his time in the ring, he was notable for playing villainous roles. Things never changed when he crossed over to Hollywood. His movie roles have also been villainous for the most part. Some highly grossing films he has partaken in are The Man with the Iron Fists, Spectre, Kickboxer and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Randy Orton, a wrestling figure who has won thirteen belts so far, is one good actor as well. So far, he juggles between acting and performing in the ring. He is known for breaking the WWE record for the youngest champion in its history. He was 24 years old then. Notable movies include The Condemned 2, 12 Rounds 2 and Countdown.

While this list is just a tip of the iceberg, the fact is that wrestling has provided a platform for many aspiring actors to nurture their skills. With more money being pumped into producing new big screen films, the future undoubtedly looks bright for stars who are angling to cross over. For viewers, the entertainment will never end.
