This Is What Makes The Breakfast Club The Perfect Gathering

By Walter Reed

The disclaimer is stating that this is not an article about 5 high school kids discovering more about themselves after a day in detention. Here we have a bunch of people, strangers, who go out of their way, thrice a week to eat breakfast together. It sounds a bit odd but think about it. Bacon and friendship looks like a deal no one has the heart to refuse.

The friends that get breakfast with you are the best ones. The Breakfast Club St Catharines, ON does exactly just this. These somewhat 50 year olds gather together at Angels Diner family restaurant located at Henly Square 395 Ontario street. The best part is how they have the most delectable morning food on the menu.

Their selection of breakfast meals are vary from omelets, eggs, waffles and so on. This menu is a good enough reason to go out in the morning and eat with a new found friend. The interior of the diner is reminiscent of vintage vibes and are adorned with a 50s theme, record player and vinyl included.

The benefits of socializing extends to even an age when most people would rather be alone. Growing up and getting really busy with more important things in life should not stop anyone from growing and learning new things for new friends. It is never to late to remedy shyness.

Whoever said that the number of friends one has decreases as they age has not met the breakfast fans of St. Catharine Ontario. Building new relationships and maintaining old ones is always a necessary facet of life. In this age where people like being shut in their own world, this has become more difficult.

This club is a great way to remedy the tendency of isolation that older people have. And if they have never gotten over their shyness at an earlier age, it never is too late. The tasking nature of socialization is easily remedied by coffee, waffles, eggs and pancakes. This make the whole concept of eating breakfast and making new friends so appealing.

Real friendships extend to more than just exchanging the juiciest gossip around town. Moreover, it does not limit to sharing the same interests. Being friends with a person who can assure you their company and trust is something everyone should have until the end of their lives. As social creatures, humans are programmed to survive better and longer by associating themselves with other humans.

Studies found that engaging in a ten minute friendly conversations can improves solving cognitive tasks. The researchers believes that when people talk to each other they make an effort to read each others minds to see the perspective of the other person. This is an activity a lot of seniors tend to take for granted, thus dulling this part of their cognitive functions.

In the long run, people that socialize have a higher chance of being healthy and living longer. Citing the study mentioned earlier, socializing can also keep mental health sharp. This aids in avoiding psychological illnesses like depression and even dementia.
