Do You Own Commercial Pools Arizona Structures? Carrying Out Pool Liner Replacements

By Elizabeth Wright

In most cases, you will find that the pool builder is telling you that the period that they will give as the warranty period is much longer. They mostly do this to make you feel that they do a nice job and also for you to feel that you are making the right decision. There are those who will tell you that you will take twenty to thirty years before you think about changing the Commercial Pools Arizona liners.

When you hear a period of thirty years, you feel that it what is very appealing as it sounds cost effective. However, is this the whole truth? Is it possible that it will take this long? The truth is that this is an exaggerated duration, and you need to be sure about the exact time that it will take.

Whether in the ground or above ground, vinyl liners have a normal lifespan of eight or so years. This is however not the common feeling held by many pool owners. The majority of them hold to the lie that they would last for up to three decades. The idea of thirty years is an imaginary creation of the manufacturers to catch your attention with relative ease a fact that seems to have worked in their favor for long.

Even on a logical basis, it is recommended that after about eight years you change the liners. Like all other things that are in use, they also tear, and they will wear out with time. Time will come when you need to replace them.

The linear warranties are usually not comprehensive which means that there will be an extra cost that it will take to fill the pool with water. You should be prepared for this as when you call in the expert; they expect that you will chip in something when it comes to other labor costs such as filling the pool.

At such a point you may hope and look forward to a hefty reimbursement in terms of labor cost only to discover it was not part of the warranty. This can be discouraging because the cost of changing liners is high. It is better to be safe than sorry and therefore, the earlier you brace yourself for a major expense of changing them, the better. It is, however, a bitter pill that will heal instead of holding on a plain lie that the liner can actually last for decades only to be ambushed by situations that warrant an immediate replacement and worse still at a time when you are not prepared for a heavy financial strain.

Most pool builders would not love the customers to get this information and know the truth. The reason is that for a long time, the system has worked in their advantage and favored them when it comes to sale. If you get someone selling to you the idea of ten years, that is reasonable as making adjustments will cost you much less than it would have in case you are in the dark on the correct lifespan.

From research by pool owners, it has been observed that on average, ground pool liners take about five to twelve years. You might even get them going for a shorter period reason being that there are chemicals in the pool such as chlorine as well as harsh temperature conditions. You need to be geared with this information beforehand so that nothing shocks you unexpectedly.
