We only have so much time to live.
Life can turn on you so quickly. It's amazing how it seems to do that at the worst time possible. One second you are standing straight up and everything is going great and the next you are on your back. But without these moments, how would we be taught the importance of getting back up after we've fallen?
Our greatest moments come after the times that we lose rather than the times we win. Everyone loves a winner, but when you are down and out and you have nothing left in the tank you finally get to understand what you are really made of. You get to ask yourself, "Are you going to get back up again or are you going to quit?" That's a very big moment, and unfortunately, not a moment that many people can actually pass through effectively.
But why is that?
In truth, the thought of going through the pain and anguish again if failure arrives at the front door is so terrifying that it takes most people out of their game. In fact, it takes them off of the road of life and parks them in the dirt. For some, they will never pull back onto the road because that pain of defeat will define their emotions for the rest of their life.
But for the brave and courageous, you have to get back up. You have to know your reasons why you are doing what you are doing because life will constantly knock you back down. Do it for yourself. Do it for your family. Do it for the world.
This world needs people who are willing to keep grinding despite the worst of the worst happening to them. This world needs people like you. This world needs those who are willing to sacrifice today for the betterment of tomorrow. This world needs everyday heroes, not celebrities, who are willing to stand for the possibility of those who believe in their dreams.
So?
Live your dream.
